Description

Mothman is a humanoid creature first seen in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. As the story goes, it was late on Novemner 15th, 1966 when Roger and Linda Scarberry and their friends, Steve and Mary Mallette, saw somethingthat looked kind of like a man, but it was 7 feet tall and it had wings! They were so scared that they tried to drive away as fast as they could, but the winged creature followed them by flying over their car along with them! During the next few days and weeks, many of Point Pleasant residents also claimed to have seen the beast. That December, the Silver Bridge collapsed and killed 46 people in the fridged warters below. Soon the residents were connecting the bridge collapse to Mothman, and so the legend began.
