It is said to be found in more colder climates than in hot, because their body keeps them from freezing. They can also breathe fire and they use this fact when they fight with other birds, as well as using their talons.
They are extremely beautiful with their vibrant colors of red and yellow, and their long tails that float in the wind.
There are many stories about the phoenix. One of the more popular ones, is the story of a bird, who, upon reaching the end of its life decided to see how high it could fly and it reached the sun, and the sun gave it powers of fire and rebirth and so when it came back down to earth it was suddenly able to be reborn, and from that time on it would live forever.
