Indrid Cold, also known as the Grinning Man or Smiling Man, is a mysterious figure that was first reported on November 2, 1966, when a man named Woodrow Derenberger was driving home near Parkersburg, West Virginia. Derenberger claimed to have seen a strange flying object that resembled a "kerosene lamp chimney" blocking the road. A man emerged from the craft, introduced himself as Indrid Cold, and told Derenberger, telepathically, that he meant no harm. He just wanted to know more about the human race.
Indrid Cold was described as a humanoid entity with an unnaturally large smile, an olive complexion, dark brown hair, and wearing a glossy dark blue coat. He is believed to be an extraterrestrial being from the planet Lanulos in the Genemedes Galaxy. He has a possible connection to The Men in Black. He's hella creepy.
